Developing the
social enterprise sector

The Impact Initiative is the online home of the Social Enterprise Sector Development Programme, which is a partnership between the Department of Internal Affairs and the Ākina Foundation. They are supported by the Community Enterprise Network Trust (CENT).

The programme is focussed on building the overall conditions for a thriving social enterprise sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.

A thriving social enterprise sector can help tackle serious social and environmental problems like inequality, poverty, waste, biodiversity loss and climate breakdown.
